On Friday night (that'd be Oct. 11), be sure to catch the Professional Fighters League (PFL) as it debuts a one-night playoff format fight in Las Vegas as the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Winners of the fight will head to the 2019 PFL World Championship in New York City, with a headliner New Year's Eve fight will determine the million-dollar-prize winner.

What's the big deal here? Welterweight quarterfinals and semifinals take place on the same night, making this the toughest night in MMA. PFL women's lightweights Kayla Harrison and Sarah Kaufman will be there, as well as returning welterweight champion Magomed Magomedkerimov.

The 2019 PFL Playoffs begin a 8 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+, with additional rounds beginning at 10 p.m. on ESPN2. Spanish-language coverage on ESPN Deportes starts at 10 p.m.

Who's taking it to the ring first? Featherweight Brendan Loughnane makes his PFL debut against Matt Wagy, fighting out of Delray Beach, Fla. That fight's on ESPN+.

Back in Las Vegas after that on ESPN2, Kayla Harrison and Genah Fabian take to the cage in an effort to change Fabian's perfect 5-0 record. Ray Cooper will be taking on Sadibou Sy in the quarterfinal, while John Howard will be battling David Michaud. Glaico Franca will face Andre Fialho while Magomed Magomedkerimov dukes it out in a rematch against Chris Curtis.

ESPN+ will be hosting a PFL Playoff Pre-Show at 9 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 10. A playoff preview show narrated by Jerry Ferrara replay at 11 p.m. on ESPNEWS.
