Just in time for the 2018 NFL season, DirecTV Now today announced that it's added the NFL Network to all but its lowest-tier plans. Starting with the $55-a-month "Gotta Have It" plan, you'll now find the NFL Network sandwiched between NBC and the NHL Network.
If somehow you've never been exposed to the NFL Network, you'll find all sorts of news and analysis and live games both during the preseason, and on Thursday nights (along with Fox and Amazon Prime Video).
Current DirecTV Now subscribers with one of the three most expensive (OK, and expansive) plans don't have to do anything to get the new channel — it'll show up the next time you open the app. Additionally, DirecTV Now subscribers soon will be able to watch the NFL Network through the "Watch NFL Network" on NFL.com and in the NFL app.
