When it comes to putting an emphasis on sports, FuboTV is one of the first streaming networks we think of. And now the upstart has added the Vegas Stats & Information Network — or VSiN, which is singularly the greatest TV acronym since WKRP — to its streaming lineup.
You'll get more than 80 hours of live programming every week, all broadcast right from the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas.
This is an especially interesting move given than a U.S. Supreme Court ruling has paved the way for legal sports gambling in the United States, though no such legislation has happened yet.
The VSiN programming is available as part of FuboTV's Sports+ add-on, which costs $8.99 a month. FuboTV's regular programming starts at $44.99 a month for its basic 80-channel package, and $49.99 a month for more than 100 channels.
fuboTV Adds Vegas Stats & Information Network to its Leading Sports-First Streaming TV Service
Starting today, the first network dedicated to sports gambling news is available to fuboTV subscribers
NEW YORK and LAS VEGAS – September 5, 2018 – fuboTV, the leading sports-first streaming TV service, and VSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network), the first media network dedicated to sports gambling information, announced today a multi-year partnership to deliver dynamic content to the growing number of Americans who wager on sports.
"The rapid spread of legalized sports gambling since the recent Supreme Court ruling is likely to have a significant impact on the way fans across the country watch sports," said Ben Grad, head of content strategy and acquisition, fuboTV. "As more and more Americans hunt for the news, analysis and data that can help inform their sports wagering, we're thrilled to give our subscribers, who are incredibly passionate about sports, access to VSiN's unique Vegas-based point of view as well as its extensive network of experts."
Available with fuboTV's Sports Plus package, VSiN broadcasts more than 80 hours of live linear programing each week, including legendary sportscaster Brent Musburger's "My Guys in the Desert," which airs weekdays at 6 p.m. ET. All VSiN shows broadcast from a showcase studio in the busiest sports book in Las Vegas at the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa - the equivalent of CNBC being on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
"As we work to break new ground in the media space, we're excited to work with a true OTT industry innovator - a team that really understands what today's consumer wants. fuboTV's vision and commitment to sports and sports fans make the company a perfect partner for us," said Brian Musburger, founder and chairman of VSiN. "This distribution partnership helps us meet a large and growing audience where they are and accelerates our path to becoming the only full broadcast network dedicated exclusively to sports gambling."
VSiN is also announcing today that its live video content will become part of its subscription packages in time for this year's football season. Packages that include live and on-demand video, VSiN's weekly digital magazine, Point Spread Weekly and specials like annual College and Pro Football Guides can be purchased at the VSiN website.
