We're getting ever closer to the end of HBO's Game of Thrones. The network has announced that the eighth and final season of GoT will being at 9 p.m. ET on April 14. The season is a short one in terms of the number of episodes — just a half dozen until it's all over.

The latest teaser doesn't do much in the way of teasing, however. Three Starks. (OK, two Starks and a Snow, if that's how you see things.) The legacy of the storied family standing between the world and the Night King. And winter isn't just coming any more — it's most definitely here.

Plus, ya know, there be dragons with Daenerys.

If you've yet to watch Game of Thrones (and we do recognize that such people exist and are not to be mocked), you've got three months to catch up on the first seven seasons. Or, you've got three months to watch it all over again and relive the sex and blood and rock 'n' roll for the first time in a long time. Your call.

But in any event, those last six episodes are gonna be good.
