NFL football games that count have been gone since the Super Bowl in February. With apologies to Joan Jett and Carrie Underwood, we've been waiting half the year for football at night! You can still watch these games even if you've cut cable and taken away its playbook. Let's review the games, and learn how to stream NFL Sunday Night Football if you've cut the cord.

Since 2004, the NFL season has begun with a special NFL Kickoff game. This game is usually held the Thursday after Labor Day, and because NFL TV rights contracts are strange, this Thursday night NFL Kickoff game is part of NBC's "Sunday Night Football".

Sunday Night Football is the marquee game slot of the NFL week, and it usually features the biggest games. The NFL makes the schedule this way because they know this is usually the highest rated of all TV programs each week. Another big reason this game has the best matchups is that starting in week 5, the NFL can flex, or move, great games from Sunday afternoon into Sunday Night Football. If you see only one game each week, make it this one. NBC is the current home of Sunday Night Football.

The NFL previews Sunday Night's match-up of the Bears and Rams.

Sunday Night Football for Week 11 heads to Hollywood as the Chicago Bears (4-5) play the Los Angeles Rams (5-4) at the L.A. Coliseum in Los Angeles at 8:20 p.m. Eastern. The Bears have picked up victories against mostly poor competition, with wins against teams with a combined record of 14-22-1. Their offense has been lifeless, as they rank near the bottom of the NFL in both running and passing offense. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky could lose his starting job if his play doesn't improve. The Bears have already lost to one L.A. team, as the Chargers beat them when Bears kicker Eddy Pineiro missed a 41 yard field goal at the end of the game.

The Rams are looking to rebound after a bad loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers this past week. The team has several wins to be proud of, due in large part to a high powered passing offense. Jared Goff has passed for 11 touchdowns, but that looks less impressive when paired with his nine interceptions. The Rams are winless in their division, and with San Francisco and Seattle both having eight wins so far, L.A. will have a slim margin of error if they want to get back into the playoff picture.

You won't want to miss a moment of either of these NFL games if you are a football fan. Here are your options on how to stream the NFL Kickoff game and Sunday Night Football without cable.
