Boxing has been having a big 2019, driven by great fights, interesting fighters and new ways to watch the sport. Now fans can see big fights from Showtime without needing an expensive cable package, a long contract or a pricey Pay-per-view. You can easily watch Gervonta Davis vs. Ricardo Nunez streaming live this weekend.

Gervonta Davis vs. Ricardo Nunez is on Saturday, July 27 from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. The main event is for the WBA Junior Lightweight Title. The night of boxing begins at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Showtime.

Gervonta "Tank" Davis (21-0) is a hot young World Champion who is enjoying a homecoming in this fight. This is Davis' first professional fight in his native Baltimore since his fourth bout as a pro, which was held at a small gym at Copin State University. "Tank" is a fitting nickname for a small 5' 5 ½" power puncher who is a knockout king. With 20 knockouts to his credit, Davis is an intimidating WBA Super World Super Featherweight title holder who is making his name on a national stage.

Richard "El Cientifico" Nunez (21-2) has an impressive career so far in his own right. With 19 knockouts in his 23 overall bouts, Nunez clearly has the power needed to close out a fight against nearly any fighter. He is a native of Panama, who has fought all but two of his fights in or around Panama City. This fight against Davis will be Nunez' first boxing bout in the United States. If he is able to score an upset over the champion, there will surely be more in store for him in the U.S. and around the world.
