You'll finally be able to see the Pokémon series in a way you've never seen before. Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, starring Justice Smith and Ryan Reynolds, is coming your way in spring 2019. Make all your childhood dreams come true by seeing what your favorite creatures would look like if they were apart of the real world.

Besides, who doesn't want to see what kind of trouble Ryan Reynolds can get into as an adorable Pikachu?

It's time to get pumped

Everyone who grew up with a love of Pokémon in their heart always dreamed about what life would be like if they were real. Could you imagine walking down the street and seeing your neighbor taking their pet Pideotto out? Well, you won't have to imagine much longer. This live-action version of Pokémon is coming soon and we'll all finally be able to see what they look like as real-life monsters.

This movie is based on a game that released for the Nintendo 3DS on February 3, 2016, called Detective Pikachu. Based on what I've seen in the trailer so far it looks like they'll be sticking to the story pretty well. The story is based on an intelligent Pikachu with dreams of becoming a detective, a boy named Tom who is the only one who can understand him, and the mysterious disappearance of Tom's father.

The unlikely duo is going to work together to figure out what really happened and (hopefully) fulfill Tom's dream of becoming a Pokémon Master along the way. With the glimpses of what I assume to be the Pokémon Tournaments, I can't express my excitement enough to see all our favorite monster movies in action.
