If you're looking at the list of the top YouTube Videos of 2019 and don't recognize some things, you're not alone. Maybe, like me, you're old and it's a generational thing. Or maybe it's just not something you're into.

But one standout for our purposes here comes from DAZN, the streaming video service that's all about boxing. (Among other things, of course.)

And so while it was a little surprising to see DAZN at No. 6 in the top videos of 2019, maybe we shouldn't be. The vid in question is "HIGHLIGHTS | Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr.", from the pair's fight back on June 1. And as of the time of this writing, the video has more than 16 million views.

And for good reason — it was a hell of a fight at Madison Square Garden, with the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO titles on the line.

Ruiz was smaller and heavier at 6-foot-2, 268 pounds, to Joshua's 6-foo-6, 247.8-pound frame. Ruiz gave up 8 inches with his 74-inch reach. He was a replacement for the fight after Jarrell Miller failed a trio of drug tests. And Joshua had Ruiz on the canvas about 43 seconds into the third round.

About 30 seconds later, Ruiz sent Joshua to the mat with a hard left hook. And as the third round closed, Ruiz sent Joshua down again, this time nearly through the ropes and out of the ring for an 8-count.

As for the rest, well, that's what the video is for. But here's the even more important part of this story: Joshua and Ruiz are going at it again this weekend.

When is the Ruiz vs. Joshua 2 fight?

Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Anthony Joshua will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 from Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia. DAZN will have the live stream broadcast beginning at Noon Eastern. The Main Event fight between Ruiz vs. Joshua 2 should begin at approximately 3:45 p.m. Eastern.

The rest of the YouTube Rewind

The 2019 Rewind itself is worth a watch, too, if only because YouTube very much leaned in to the hate from the 2018 video — it definitely was not good, even if it also was an example of how there's not always room for "meh" online how things will escalate to full-blow dumpster fire in a matter of minutes — and used it as a chance to reboot things just a bit.

It doesn't necessarily mean you'll suddenly become a Millennial and have any more of an idea of what most of the vids are, but it's still not as bad as last year.

And if it gives the opportunity for a niche streaming service to break through the makeup and hauls and conspiracy vids — seriously, how are those still a thing? — so much the better.
