When you stop and think about it, for those who of who grew up in the 1980s the decade really was one big adventure. This was life pre-cell phone. Pre-internet. We didn't know where our friends were 24 hours a day, and we were left to grow a good bit on our own, without our parents watching every single minute.

That's been evident as well through the first two seasons of Netflix's Stranger Things. Kids very much being kids. OK, with more than a healthy dose of the supernatural taking over, but still. It's the sort of thing that those of us of a certain age very much thought could happen at any time. Hell, we in some ways wished it would happen, so that we would have the chance to save the day.

Anyway. That brings us to the latest teaser for the third season of Stranger Things, which introduces us to the Season 3 episode titles. And they are:

  • Suzie, Do You Copy?
  • The Mall Rats
  • The Case of the Missing Lifeguard
  • The Sauna Test
  • The Source
  • The Birthday
  • The Bite
  • The Battle of Starcourt
  • Barb!*

That last one might or might not be true. I think it could be. It's entirely possible that Barb wasn't killed but instead has been trapped inside a Sam Goody store all this time. Or maybe a Walden Books. In any event, it could happen.

And in 2019, something will.

"In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues."
