Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, and Shield TV

So you've decided to go with PlayStation Vue as your streaming solution. Good for you. It's a great cord-cutting service.

Now you have to figure out if PS Vue will work on your hardware. The good news is the answer probably is "Yes." Because like most of the other streaming services out there, PlayStation Vue is available on pretty much everything.

But you like bullet points. I get it. So let's break it down even further. Here's everything you can watch PlayStation Vue on.

  • PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
  • Roku (firmware 7.7 and up): Roku Ultra, Roku 3, Roku 2, Roku Express/+, Roku TV, Roku Premiere/+, Roku Streaming Stick/+.
  • Amazon Fire TV (all generations)
  • Apple TV (4th gen)
  • Android TV (OS 4.4 and up)
  • iOS devices (iPad Mini, iPad 2, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 4th gen)
  • Android (phones and tablets running Android 4.4 and up)
  • Amazon Fire Tablets (Fire HD6 and up)
  • Google Chromecast

The one noticeable exception here? No Xbox. Because, of course, PlayStation and Xbox are in direct competition, and we can't have one service available on competing hardware, possibly wooing away customers, can we?

Anyway — now that we've settled that, here's another question: Which one will you be using?
