DirecTV Now DVR on Roku An updated DirecTV Now app is available on Roku, enabling 20-hours of cloud recording.

Some good news for you folks using DirecTV Now on Roku — the updated DirecTV Now experience is now available, and that means you now have access to cloud DVR.

The same caveats apply here — you get 20 hours of recording "space," and recordings are available for 30 days.

And Roku issues a word of caution for a few of its devices. If you're using a Roku Express, Roku Express+ or some of the TCL TVs that use Roku as the operating system, the DirecTV Now app could take a little longer to load. Because "we've packed so much into this new premium streaming experience," they say. It's slow, but it's premium. OK. But Roku says it's going to make it up to folks

Don't worry, both teams are working diligently to speed this up in the near future. Additionally, we'll be reaching out to folks with these devices with a special offer.

Good deal, then.
