Matchroom Boxing Promotions has an exciting fight night set for this weekend, featuring a rematch as the main event. The first bout was a classic that went the distance, and ending in a tight majority decision. You'll want to see these two go at it again, so get ready to watch championship boxing this Friday night with Rungvisai vs. Estrada 2 only on DAZN

Rungvisai vs. Estrada 2 is streaming on Friday, April 26, from The Forum in Los Angeles. DAZN has the full event starting at 9:30 p.m. Eastern, with an undercard, featured fights and main event, so lock in the stream from the beginning to make a night of it.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (47-4-1) of Thailand is the current WBC and Ring Magazine Super-flyweight World Championship. He will put those titles on the line Friday, just as he did when he faced Estrada in February of 2018. Sor Rungvisai is sometimes referred to by his birth name of Wisaksil Wangek, but he's best known by his fast and powerful fists. He's considered a top 10 pound for pound fighter in the world, and he has an amazing streak to back it up. After getting his career off to a rough start, losing three of his first five, Sor Rungvisai has only lost 1 fight in his last 47 bouts. Sor Rungvisai has racked up 20 straight victories since then, and no doubt hopes to extend to 21 straight by repeating his win over Estrada.

Juan Francisco Estrada (38-3) is a Mexican boxer with an impressive career of his own. Estrada only lost one of his first 27 fights, all in Mexican professional boxing events. He avenged that loss to Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr only five fights later. Estrada is only a mild underdog in this match, and this can be credited to his performance in their first fight. At the first Rungvisai vs Estrada fight, fans could appreciate the respect and admiration between them as the two fighters embraced after the final bell. Estrada was clearly frustrated when he heard his opponents name called in the decision, and he's sure to channel that feeling heading into this fight.

You can watch the highlights from the first Rungvisai vs Estrada to get an idea of how well matched these to fighters are for each other.

This night of boxing has a second title fight on the card. Daniel "The Baby-Faced Assassin" Roman (26-2-1) faces TJ "The Power" Doheny (21-0). This will be a unification title, as Roman currently holds the WBA Super-Bantamweight World Championship while Doheny is the reigning IBF Super-Bantamweight World Champion.

The rest of the card, as always subject to change, is as follows:

  • Jessie Vargas (28-2-2) vs. Humberto Soto (69-9-2)
  • Shakhram Giyasov (7-0) vs. Emanuel Taylor (20-5)
  • Anthony Sims Jr (18-0) vs. Vaughn Alexander (14-2)
  • Diego Pacheco (2-0) vs. Guillermo Maldonado (1-0)
  • Austin Williams (debut) vs. Joel Guevara (3-4-1)
  • Ronny Rios (29-3) vs. Daniel Olea (13-7-2)
  • Alberto Ezequiel Melian (4-0) vs. Isaac Zarate (16-4-3)
